My name is Toby.
I Live for collaboration.
How can I help?
Graphic designer, artist, illustrator, pen and ink enthusiast, wanderer, organic material and bone collector, macro photography devotee, campground event organizer, traveller and primitive skills lover, I currently live and work in and around the Baltimore and Washington DC areas.
Having spent more than eighteen years as a professional graphic designer, page layout specialist, creative director and all around hard worker, I, as of the early 2010s, stepped away from long-term roles to spend time honing and exploring all creative skills and crafts. In short, I’ve been leaning on my edges and getting really good at things. All of these seemingly mad, mad endeavors demonstrate my resolve in the continuous learning of art. My admiration for nature, fascination with the living world, and beauty in atrophy provide an extensive palette in these widening spheres. I now assist musicians, producers and other artists in an almost endless dance of collaboration and I am working towards even wider goals; to always be in service.
In addition to my involvement with recognized publishers such as Sourcebooks in Naperville, IL, and the largest global publisher of earth and space sciences, The American Geophysical Union, based out of Washington, DC, I am seeking to lend my unique expertise and ethos to anyone who would wish for an adventurous delving into creative potential. Currently, I am working in long-form collaborations with artists throughout the United States as well as the expanding Universe.
